| It is good that they
came and have been here. They brought the Spirit of Jesus Christ into our
midst (Luke 4:18, Isaiah 61:1-3)
In
this fictional story, two everyday people, Knut and Gudrun Peterson,
are missionaries in
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Prague has the reputation of
being
the country in contemporary Europe that is most godless, most secular
and most derailed from its Christian cultural and spiritual heritage.
Yet the
Petersons believe that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens
them (Philippians 4:13). Once in Prague, the Petersons violate established taboos in their quest to
follow Christ: they do the Three Things You Can t Do in Prague! In the
process, the Petersons make friends, discover much about the Czech Republic
that is new to them, and find that helping the Czechs recover their Christian
heritage is possible.
