MRP--Making Resources Productive

Writing Workshops

Your life is not just all about you. Wherever you have come from, whatever you have seen and done, however you interpret your life, people around you have been part of it and want to hear about it.

"Write Your Life" is a workshop to give you the chance to begin to tell your story not just to the people you see every day, but to those like your relatives (including those yet to be born!), friends far away, and total strangers who may be inspired by how you've chosen to live.

Sara Tusek, MRP Director

Sara Tusek, founder and owner of MRP, has been helping people understand and develop their unique personal skills, talents, and ambitions through MRP since 1987. She has more than 30 years professional experience as a workshop instructor, writer, administrator and business manager in both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Sara has a Master's degree in Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the State University of New York, College at Potsdam. She co-owns the International Leadership Institute and serves as Managing Director. Sara has written successful grant proposals for agencies of the United States and Czech governments; at ILI, she specializes in program development, delivery and evaluation.

Sara has written non-fiction (21st Century Jobs, Your Career Passport) and fiction (Prague for Beginners: Finding Myself in Prague, Three Things You Can't Do in Prague). Her background in business, non-profit organizations and government agencies, combined with her work in training and teaching, career development, and writing and editing publications, gives her insight into the nature of helping people discern their own particular gifts and goals. She has extensive practical experience in working with people from a wide range of cultures, professions, educational backgrounds, and values, helping them to achieve their objectives.
